When you are beginning to learn Spanish, you will need to learn the Spanish alphabet first. It’s not hard. You just need to know a few extra letters and sounds. Because Spanish and English have so many Latin cognates, and words that come from Latin sound alike, many words are almost the same, just with a slightly different pronunciation. The Spanish alphabet has three more letters than the English one. Those are che (che), 11 (elle) and n (ene). These Spanish letters fit in the English alphabet just like they sound, and just like it makes sense to native English speakers, and it will to you too when you get more deep into your studies.
